Naughty Bits Today

Seriously. If you are easily offended, you don't need to click the following link to the Official Pornstar Bears Website. Just forget about it. It's not good for you. I doubt there are any redeeming features about this site. I mean, gosh, is it even art?

If you think you can handle it without writing me hate mail, the fun is just beginning. Venture into the world of toys after dark. It's twisted, but entertaining. It's the Official Pornstar Bears Website. Don't miss the 'dress up' area - a great e-card opportunity.

My slug is my very best friend.

Nosepilot was one of the first Flash cartoons I ever saw. This breathtaking 7 minute piece may have been crafted when the art of Flash was still young, but it's still an impressive and entertaining diversion. You'll be humming the music for the rest of the day.

Find out what a curious cat, a slug and an animated robotic duck have in common >>

PS - Blogger post scheduling, I hate you. You never work right.

Well now. You can keep yourself busy with Ultimate Flash Face. Basically you get to be an artist and draw people using pre-made facial features. There's lots of fun to be had here - draw yourself, your lover, your brother, someone famous, your dream date -or- go the other route and draw some creepy folks you would never want to meet.

My New Favorite Website

Take a peek inside the mind of NatalieDee - a cartoonist, artist and blogger extraordinare - as she copes with life, her husband Drew, knitting and 2 blog-worthy dogs named Charles and Chester.

If I drink milk whilst visiting Natalie's site, it's sure to come out my nose as I laugh.

A sample from Natalie's blog:

Hey, guys.

I just looked behind me, and saw my dog standing on the couch, with his paws on the wainscotting, CHEWING ON A PAINTING THAT IS HANGING ON THE WALL.

Fuck you, Charles. You're a maniac.

J-list Serves Up Fresh Japanese Goods

If you hanker for a bit of Japan you can call your own, you may want to head on over to the J-List and pick something up. If you are a minor or you are easily offended by the pornish side of things, you may want to skip this one. (Although there is a porn-free area of the site for you should you choose to visit).

Among the highlights of this site are the Japanese adult toys such as the 'Breast Ball', the poop hat and 'Girl in a Cup.' For the not-so-naughty there's plenty of traditional Japanese items, clothing, magazines, anime, toys, DVDs, calendars... and s much more.

Get out your credit card and get shoppin'!

Everyone Loves Aussies

Hitchhiking is bad! Right? Wrong... at least for foreigners like these 2 Australians who decided to spend their holiday hitchhiking and blogging their way in 50 days across America - being sure to stop in the capital of every state. Such fun! My only complaint - they dissed my home state. But you don't know which state it is, do you?

Anyway once I picked up a pair of South African hitchhikers in my home state and probably drove them along the same stretch of road our Aussie bloggers took... fascinating, I know.

Well kids, "Drive fast & take chances" - that's what I always say.

Ninja Week - Day of the Ninja

Sadly, Ninja week is drawing to a close. Now that you've be saturated with so much ninjadom, you'll want to try out being a ninja, right? It's your big chance to go ninja crazy for a day... at the mall, at home, at work. Why they chose that date is beyond me... what with all the holiday bustle and such. But of course I can't really change it.

So here's how to get ready:
Day of the Ninja
Ask a Ninja Event Planning Wiki

Ninja Week - Hungry?

Picture this: You're extremely rich and powerful and you are escaping the ho-hum world in some remote location... a location so remote they don't even have fast food. And then it hits you - cheeseburger craving. What do you do? Panic, right? WRONG! Call NINJA BURGER. Guaranteed delivery in 30 minutes or less or they commit seppuku. (If you've been following along all week, you'll know what seppuku means.)

Just mosey on over to the Ninja Burger website to see a menu, find out your ninja name, play Nin-Ja-Toe and if you ain't so rich and powerful I guess you could pick up and fill out a job application.

Ninja Week - The Little Ninja

Ninjai: The Little Ninja has to be one of the most beautifully animated Flash series of all time. Follow the travels of a boy ninja as he tries to discover his identity. Engaging, compelling story complimented by artful scenery. Must view! Make sure you start at the beginning or you'll be totally lost.

Ninja Week - Real Ultimate Ninja

Perhaps one of my fondest moments of discovery on the web was when I was sent the link to Real Ultimate Power. Not only is it an excellent site about ninjas, but it has the best hate mail I've ever seen. I only hope that you will enjoy it as much as I did.

PS - Don't miss the ninja sightings while you're there!

Ninja Week!

Ever think about becoming a ninja? I bet you did when you were younger.

I don't know about you, but my two favorite GI Joes were Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. If your mom was too cheap to buy you those or if you weren't cool enough to be into GI Joe, those were the two requisite ninjas. Storm Shadow worked for COBRA and was dressed in white. (I just bought a white and snow-camo jacket so I could live out my childhood dream of being a snow ninja.) Snake Eyes was the good-guy ninja in black. Once the two were as close as brothers, but now are bitter enemies... yadda yadda yadda...

Anyway, in celebration of childhood dreams that have been dashed to bits on the jagged reality of life and the fact that ninjas are a constant source of entertainment on the internet, allow me to kick off the first annual Ninja Week here at WWW. ENJOY!

Evil Overlord-topia

We've all thought about it. Some have dared to work out a plan. A few have even tried, but failed. But we can learn. We can learn from their mistakes. Perhaps one day there will be an Evil Overlord who learns how not to do it by visiting Peter's Evil Overlord List or "If I Were An Evil Overlord".

Not enough for ya?

Try a movie based on the list. (40MB AVI download!!!)

SNOW DAY!

Yes, I had the day off as my car was embedded in ice and my neighborhood was a skating rink. Hurray! We walked to the nearest bar to celebrate. In honor of my snow day, allow me to present a website that only Puget Sound region folks can use SchoolReport.org - where you can find out school closing info in the Puget Sound region.

Coming soon - a national version called Snowday.com

Free-base cuteness!

If you haven't noticed by now, I have a distinct and consuming love of kawaii - that's Japanese for 'cute'. Today's sites are a pair or uber-cute destinations for Japan's Aranzi Aronzo, Inc. Rather than describe these myself, I'll let you explore.

2 in One Week!

Another classic for you today - Napster Bad!, a Flash cartoon by Bob Cesca. It's been nearly 7 years since Napster first reared its glorious head, giving rise to a new industry called 'peer-to-peer file exchange' (known more commonly as 'steal that sh*t back from the man').

Let's start 2007 off right by looking into our own past and see what can be learned, shall we? Get yourself and your hairy-stomached mom some popcorn, sit back and watch.

Coff-ay and Fudge Stripe Cook-ays.

One of my favorite Flash cartoons of all time is OddTodd. This web classic really hit home for me as it came out when most of my friends were going through the Seattle DotBomb and hence lost their cushy IT jobs. Oh yeah - and the main character bears a striking resemblance to my friend Kris.

Every time I go through a period of unemployment (always voluntary, of course) I watch this.

At Work Soundtrack

So I've been totally hooked on this Live365 radio station called EthnoTechno. I love it! It's like when you get a new CD and it never leaves your stereo. EthnoTechno is ethnic-inspired downtempo which focuses mostly on South Asian sounds blended with electronic music and slow beats. You'll occasionally hear something middle eastern or far eastern inspired. You can find the radio station at

http://www.live365.com/stations/dimmsummer

and the accompanying website at

http://www.ethnotechno.com/

Try it! It's delicious.

Bugger Off!

Ever had trouble with stupid websites that require registration only to mail you more and more spam? OK dumb question. It's irritating, but not impossbile to overcome. I've been a big fan of BugMeNot.com for quite a while now and I guess it's time I shared my secret. I can't remember just how I found it or when, but let's just say I used to be totally annoyed that I couldn't watch video on CNN or read articles in the New York Times. Worse still was logging into Adobe's website to get their free goodies like Plug-ins and Presets for Adobe Illustrator.

Here's a brief overview of this excellent site from the site itself:
You're browsing the web and you click a link to an article on a site (let's say nytimes.com) but instead of getting the article you get a screen asking you to login or register. Infuriated at the idea of pointlessly registering for yet another site you turn to your good buddy bugmenot.com

BugMeNot.com was created as a mechanism to quickly bypass the login of web sites that require compulsory registration and/or the collection of personal/demographic information (such as the New York Times).

Anyway... it's time to set the internet free! Start the revolution >>
